Steven Dodd President
Steven is co-founder and President of Tuition Management
Systems. Steven attended Rhode Island College where
he studied economics, and was selected by the US Small
Business Administration as one of the country's
50 Young Entrepreneurs of the Year and is a member of
Who's Who of American Business Leaders. Steven
has been quoted on education affordability in a number
of national publications and has appeared on network
programs.
Jon Dodd Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing
Jon is co-founder and Executive Vice President of Tuition
Management Systems. Since 1985, Jon has been immersed
in all aspects of education funding and affordability.
He is keenly aware of the challenges schools face as
well as the options and choices that are available to
help overcome those challenges. He currently serves
on higher education advisory panels and was selected
as a member of Who's Who of American Business
Leaders. Jon has been quoted in numerous national publications,
appeared on national network news programs, and spoken
at numerous education conference panels. He is a graduate
of the University of Rhode Island.
Kevin Barney Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Kevin directs the execution of school sales and retention
plans. He is also a member of the Senior Management
Team. A graduate of Drew University with a B.A. in Economics,
he spent twelve years at Commemorative Brands, Inc.,
as the Vice President of Sales for the $180 million
On-Campus division. In that role he directed the sales
efforts of 380 sales and service professionals nationwide.
Dave Pelkey Chief Operating Officer
Dave oversees family marketing, family service, school
service, and IT functions and is also a member of the
Senior Management Team. Prior to joining Tuition Management
Systems, David was Vice President of Information Systems
at Pharmacare Management Services, Inc., a prescription
benefit management company and a subsidiary of CVS Management
Services Corporation. In that capacity, he led a series
of technology initiatives including extending client
self service through the internet, introducing sophisticated
call management software to multiple contact centers
and developing high volume online transaction software
processing applications. His career includes time spent
as a technology consultant, an adjunct faculty member
at Towson State College (now Towson University) and
progressively more responsible engineering and management
positions with McCormick & Company and Bausch &
Lomb. David is a graduate of the State University of
New York at Buffalo.
Craig Lockwood Chief Financial Officer
Craig has primary financial oversight responsibility
for Tuition Management Systems and also serves on the
Senior Management Team. In addition, Craig serves a
vital role in business intelligence, decision support
analysis, and strategy development. Prior to joining
Tuition Management Systems, Craig was managing associate
at Beacon Consulting Group, a management consulting
firm specializing in strategic development and process
redesign. In that capacity he served as redesign architect
on several projects for large financial service clients.
Prior experience includes time spent as an information
systems consultant, software development manager, and
mutual fund administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and
a Masters of Science in Finance from Suffolk University.
